1. Natural diamond rings
This is a given, they are the most sought after and most well known of all precious stones and any decent sized centerpiece diamond is going to turn any ring into an expensive engagement ring.
2. Ruby engagement rings
natural ruby engagement rings are definitly not cheap because they are quite rare. Expect to pay over 1000 dollars for a nice one.
3. Sapphire engagement rings
A natural sapphire engagement ring will at least set you back over 1000 dollars. If you have not been reading the news then you might not know that Prince William gave Kate Middleton a sapphire engagement ring for their engagement. However, that one is truly priceless.
